Digital Logic Course Page Officially Up! What to Expect

Hello, EVERYONE!

Today, GearsNGenes published the page for its first online course for Digital Logic! If you want to take a look at it now, please click here. The suggested prerequisites are currently posted on this page and more content is to come.

Now is a good time to give a brief explanation as what to expect for our online courses. First and foremost, our courses’ purposes are to democratize STEM education. Check out our main Online Courses page here for more.

At the top of each course page, you will see a picture with the following template:

When you see this image, please make sure to read it. The box marked “Prerequisites” contains a list of topics that you are expected to know going into this course, as they won’t be covered in the course itself. While there is no mandatory “checkbox” you need to fill out, making sure you are familiar with the topics in the box is strongly suggested. The two children in the image will follow along with you!

Once you finished reading through the prerequisites, look at the breakdown of the topics that the course will cover. The breakdown not only lists out the topics that will be covered like a typical syllabus, but also illustrates the relationship between the topics and how each one builds upon the previous.

Most of the course content will be in the form of videos, though we will occasionally provide written and illustrated sources for additional reference. New content will be released in batches. For particularly big or significant subjects, we may provide social media updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Be sure to follow the Digital Logic course’s growth as more content is added. Until then, keep building and stay creative!
